We've put together some answers to the questions we've been getting
These are for stall holders, visitors and the curious
If your question isn't here, please shoot us an email email@example.com
+ Where is SVM?
Our home is The Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park! We are so excited to partner with The EQ, this space is perfect for us. Close to public transport, a stack of green space, amazing infrastructure and a 2000 space carpark, we couldn't be happier and know you will be too.
+ I would like to have a stall at Sydney Vegan Market
Great! We want you too! We only have one criteria: That your business/product range/menu is entirely vegan or plant based ie you don't use or sell animal products ever, like ever! Animal products include meat, dairy, eggs, honey, fur and wool. Animal testing is also included in this.
+ How much does it cost to have a stall at SVM?
We are committed to SVM being a place where small vegan businesses can thrive and promise to maintain our integrity and passion as we grow and show Sydney how it's done. All sites are 3mx3m.
- Food Truck - Fresh food: $465
- Food Truck - Pre-made food: $385
- Fresh Food: $295
- Pre-made Food: $240
- General: $220
- Not For Profit: $75
+ I'm interested in sponsoring SVM, what's the deal?
There are two sponsorship opportunities for SVM and in keeping with our logo they are Cockatoo, Kookaburra & Duck
Cockatoo Sponsors pay an extra $200 per market & get a kick ass stall location so you definitely won't be missed on market day and website, newsletter and site map presence plus social media promos to a stack of engaged folk who are dying to hear about you and your product. Our instagram alone is increasing by 1000 followers a month!
Kookaburra Sponsors pay an extra $100 per market and get the choice between a kick ass stall location (limited number available) OR social media promo and website, newsletter and site map presence
Duck Sponsors do not attend the market and pay $150 for social media promo and website, newsletter and site map presence
+ What do I need to bring with me to trade at SVM?
Stalls at The EQ will be either on the field or under the canopy. General, NFP and some food stalls will be on the field so will need to bring a market tent and all other equipment needed to trade in a outdoor setting ie tables, equipment etc. Those under the canopy won't need a market tent. Our food stalls also need to adhere to food safety guidelines as per our Food + Beverage Management Plan. Please note that SVM is a plastic free event so all plates, utensils, cups, straws, serving trays etc must be bio.
+ What documents do I need?
You'll need Public/Product Liability insurance up to $20mil and if you're a food seller you'll also need:
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- A City of Sydney Temporary Food Permit
+ How many servings should I bring?
This one is always hard to forecast! If you have the production capacity, we recommend that you bring 200 serves.
+ What happens if I don't get in?
Our market is curated so that your business stands out from the crowd and so that our customers can see a wide range of products. This means that we only have limited numbers in each category. If you don't get in one month, try again! We want to continue to invigorate and will invite new busineses to trade at every market.
+ I'd like to visit SVM, what is the address and how do I get there?
We are at The Entertainment Quarter, 122 Lang Rd in Moore Park. Our mates at The EQ have created this handy guide: http://www.eqmoorepark.com.au/explore-eq/getting-here/
+ Is there parking?
There sure is! The Entertainment Quarter has 2000 parking spots and the first 2hrs are FREE!
+ Are there ATM's?
Yep, there are 2 within the market site and some vendors also have EFTPOS facilities but take it from us, BYO cash is the ticket! Those ATM queues are u g l y
+ Can I bring my dog/kids?
YES! Please do! In fact, if you don't we will all have feelings and you'll have to go home and get them.
+ What should I bring?
There are a couple of things that will make your stay at SVM that much better. Along with cash, your own cup/container/water bottle/shopping bags (or you can get your very own SVM bag at the info stall!), sunscreen, hst, a willingness to be introduced to the wonders of cruelty free living and an empty tummy!
